Other Courses and Training Programmes
The University of Minho offers a large number of courses and training programmes that do not provide an academic degree.
Pre-graduate training
Preparation Course for Over 23 Years of Age
Intending to continue to respond to a need of citizens who did not have the opportunity to take, in due course, a normal school path that would allow them to access higher education, UMinho offers, once again, a Preparation Course for Over 23 Years of Age for Access to Higher Education for those who intend to apply to UMinho through the Special Contest for Applicants Holding Exams Over 23 Years.
Covering the Portuguese language (mandatory) and a specific discipline, the Course dispenses those interested in applying for admission to UMinho through the Special Contest for Applicants Holding Exams Over 23 Years, in the same year in which they obtain approval in the Course, from the Portuguese language exam and the specific exam, required under the aforementioned Contest.
