According to the Regulation of the University of Minho, the Academic Services integrate several divisions and sectors with differentiated functions: the Undergraduate Division; the Postgraduate Division; the Pedagogical Division; the Support and Quality Division; and the Secretariat. This service unit has its own facilities in both campi: Gualtar (Braga) and Azurém (Guimarães). In addition to the on-site, phone and e-mail services (around 100,000/year), the Academic Services provide students and prospective applicants a range of information and services via this Academic Portal. Since July 2012, the Academic Services are a certified entity under the Quality Management System in accordance with standard NP EN ISO 9001:2008, an international reference for the certification of the quality management system, which recognises the efforts undertaken by the organisations to guarantee product and/or service compliance, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement. This certification was renewed in June 2015 by AENOR.
